Joey Thomas Turned up Friday after work for 3 nights and a busy lake it’s the 2nd weekend of the new season so was bound to be. After a walk round I noticed a lot of fish in the snags and the out of bounds area. The swim I fancied was taken but the bloke was of early Saturday morning so I put a bucket in there ready for the following morning. There was still a lot of fish in the other sets of snags so decided to fish in the last free snag swim. Nothing happened in the night so moved into sunnymeads the next morning and had 22ib mirror within a couple hours then other the next 48hrs I had another 4 bites losing 1 landing a 24ib mirror and 2 30s a 34ib nicely scaled one and another mirror of 32ib all caught on active 8 with loads of active 8 syrup baiting up with 1kg after each bite.
