About Robert Burgess
My dad took me fishing for gudgeon, roach etc at a very young age and from there the fishing bug stayed with me, as I got older we fished for carp on the surface after school which then turned into night fishing over the weekends.
I joined my local angling club when I was 16 and then bigger waters like Horseshoe, Croxley hall, Farlows and the Linear complex.
In the last few years I’ve really enjoyed competing in the carp match fishing scene, Ive been lucky enough to win a few along the way but still chasing that BCAC trophy!
Back in the summer of 2018 I jumped at the chance to work for Korda as an angling Coach and with this came the opportunity to join the mainline baits team, I’ve had some awesome results on many of the baits in the range.
A lot of my fishing is now overnighters so having a bait which I know has a track record of working literally everywhere with instant results is a massive plus!
