Last weekend saw the BCAC final held at Broadlands Lake and Mainline Baits was yet again well represented by the chaps!
None more so than Mainline carping veteran, Rob Tough and his match partner, Matt Jones who went on to become the overall competition winners and BCAC Champions!
A massive well done goes out to Matt and Toughy who had this to say:
"Matt Jones and I have the enviable position of being crowned BCAC 2013 Champions after a long and tortuous 48hrs of sheer hard work and nail-biting carp match.
After storming into an early lead in the first 18hrs, and landing ten fish to give us a weight of 153lb - the next 30hrs would see us land one more carp of 22lb and suffer the anxiety of watching the rest of the field slowly start to eat away at our winning position.
However, this was to be our year and in Matt's first final and my 7th final, after personally finishing with a 3rd and a 2nd in previous years we held on and lifted the much coveted trophy and title of BCAC champions!
We are forever grateful to Mainline Baits for the continued support and supply of a winning bait that just seems to keep producing the goods for us at the right time, and indeed each and every time.
