Cell Success for Rob!
Mainline Consultant Rob Marsh has been in contact following a couple of recent results, one using his long range casting expertise and another from a quick over night park lake session. Over to Rob to take up the story:"I have just managed 2nd place in the first casting for cancer qualifier at Brooklands where 28 anglers fished a very hard match as the fish just did not play ball and with only 2 fish being caught during the 48hr match. The fish were shoaled up in the middle of the lake at 150-170yds and it took a solid PVA bag filled with a Mainline CELL dumbell-hooker with some Mainline Response pellets, chopped Cell and Hinders mini combi pellet to fool this cracking Medway Valley mirror at 24lb 5oz.
Best of all we raised over £6800 for the Orchid charity and I am looking forward to the final at Broadlands in September."
Overnight Success
"Next time out I got back to the southern park lake I've been fishing for a quick overnighter. As I walked onto the lake I saw a good fish straight away come clean out of the water so I opted for the nearby long chuck swim. I spombed 30 mini spombs of Mainline CELL boilies with Hinders salt & pepper hemp and Response pellets to a silty area at 60yds range both rods were placed on the spot. It was a quiet night untill 5am when my right hand rod
was away and after a good battle I slid the net under this cracking 28lb 4oz mirror. Well happy I packed up in the rain for work."
