Short Session Cell Result!

Mainline Consultant, Rob Marsh has been in touch recently following yet another short session CELL result!  Over to Rob and his report:
"The last 3 weeks since my trip to Abbey Lakes in France have been very quiet, and I have been doing my 2 overnighters a week to no avail. So I decided to venture to my other syndicate water and although it had recently been flooded I had to try. I made the 70 mile trip to the lake and arrived at 6.00pm in total darkness. There was two cars in the car park and I could see a couple of lights down the bank. I fancied a swim called the curvy boards and as I walked down the bank I was relieved to find it was free, I walked down to the next swim to make sure the angler was not fishing towards my swim. I soon found out that there had been four anglers on most of the week but no fish had been out. I got back to the swim and quickly placed the rods out on the spots, Cell pop-ups fished with chod rigs incorporating Atomic size 6 chodda hooks and the new chod wyre stiff filament the rig was fished on a choppa droppa leadcore system. A scattering of Hinders pellet combo and Mainline Response pellets and a few Cell 14mm baits were placed around each hookbait. With the rods out I soon sat and enjoyed a cuppa when a fish boshed out to my right. During the night I received loads of liners and heard plenty of fish crash but it was not untill first light I was playing a very angry carp I had the fish wallowing in the margins when my other rod was away luckily the fish found a weed bed which gave me a chance to sort the fish out and luckily she was still on and I soon slid the net under a very dark mirrior. The first fish was a common and went 22lb 5oz and the mirror was 30lb 6oz! I was well happy! I got the rods back out and got the camera sorted when I was in again another good battle and I slid the net under a cracking fully scaled mirror. On the scales she went 28lb 12oz what a feeding spell! Well I got the photos done and got off to work. Well happy!!!"
