I started fishing when I was about 8 years old but carp fishing properly started when I was about 15 years old when I went to fish the canal I saw a large carp and straight away I wanted to catch one. From that day I was hooked. I would walk miles with my gear to the nearest lakes to catch small, single figure carp. Once I could drive then the world was my oyster. When I started working in the industry in 1999 for RHAP and the BCAC that’s when I was lucky enough to travel around the World carp fishing. Using Mainline Bait has always been an obsession I love trying new baits and help develop new bait ideas and concepts.
