Walking the banks, looking for fish, scouting areas and applying some bait is all part of big water carping
A Helicopter lead set-up is great for preventing tangles and fishing over silt
Food source boilies: everything a big pit carp is looking for
A spread of boilies with the throwing stick is my favoured approach
01 These are all the items you will need to put together a three-bait-stringer.
03 Next cut away around a 15-20cm (7-10 inches) section of PVA tape.
04 Fold the PVA tape in half to double it over and hook it onto the needle.
05 Close the needle latch and carefully pull the boilies onto the PVA tape.
06 This will leave a loop at one end of the stringer to place around the hook.
07 With the stringer looped on push the top boilie up to the hook like this.
08 The stringer should now look like this with the boilies evenly spread out.
09 Dip the whole presentation into the Hookbait Enhancement System next.
10 This massively boosts the attraction and the rig is now ready to cast out!
Balanced Wafters keep my rigs simple yet effective
A few boilies here and there, gaining the confidence of the carp
02 Start by adding some boilies to the fill side of a Krusha like so.
03 Add the top section of the Krusha and twist the two together.
05 Crush some more boilies and tip them out into a bowl or dish.
06 I like to add some Response Pellet matching my boilie flavour.
07 Mix the boilie/pellet and add to a PVA funnel mesh like this.
08 Tie two overhand knots to seal the bag and cut between them.
09 Now add some Stick Mix Liquid to the outside of the PVA bag.
10 Simply hook onto your rig for a super high-attract presentation!
