02 First of all ensure your rig/lead is dry by rolling it in Stick Mix or groundbait

03 Now add a small amount of Spod & PVA Pellet to the bottom of a solid bag

04 The next step is to lower the hookbait, rig and lead set-up into the bag like so

05 Carefully top-up the bag with pellets - these scoops or a teaspoon really help

07 Now slap the bag against your hand a few times to compact the pellets like so

08 Take a short piece of PVA tape next and tie off the top of the bag as seen here

09 Trim the tag ends of PVA then lightly lick your fingers to twist and seal the bag

10 To compact and make the bag aerodynamic push in and stick down the corners

11 The PVA bag is now finished and ready to be stored in a watertight container

12 One last thing I like to do before casting out is add some liquid attraction!

Not all hook manufactures use the same gauge wire in their hooks; so the weight of say a size 6 hook can vary slightly from brand to brand. So always check your rig before casting out by lowering your rig in the margin. Ideally the hookbait should sink slowly to waft and hover just above the hook.
