New Syndicate Success!!!
We just can't keep up with the latest catch reports from top Mainline consultant, Rob Marsh! No sooner than we recieve news of his instant success from his first visit to a new syndicate water, he sends us another report of yet more carp catching success including a very big fish from his next syndicate session! Over to Rob to take up the story:"Well with the good news that my ticket had come up for a publicity shy venue in the south of England I arranged to fish a weekend session
with Lee who has been a member for a year now. After a walk round myself and Lee opted for 2 swims at one end. It was a bit of a rush to
get the rods out before dark.
After a quiet night we decided on a move to the other end of the lake, the day was very quiet, but during the night myself and Lee could hear a fair few fish crashing and at 6.45am my right hand rod was away! After a good battle Lee slid the net under a good mirror on the scales she went 32lb 8oz! She fell for a NEW Cell fluro 10mm pop up with a mixture of Hinders mini combi and combi pellets.
With my first fish under my belt on my new syndicate water and with so many fish showing on the area I fished I was determined to get back to the lake so I arrived at the lake on monday evening and was well pleased to see an empty car park. I got set up just before dark and Lee had arrived and set up next door. At around 11.45pm Lee woke me to do some photos for a upper double he had caught. I had just got back in the bag when my middle rod was away and after a good battle I slid the net under an upper double common! Lee did a couple of shots and we got back of to sleep. I was awoken at first light with the middle rod bobbin hitting the top of the rod with a bang! The fish came in easy as its head was covered in weed and the lead had come off as it should.
On the scales the common went 28lb 12oz I did some self takes as Lee had already left for work. I got the rod back out and started to pack up and most of the gear on the barrow when the middle rod was away again!
As soon as I connected to the fish I knew it was a good-un as it plodded around and as soon as it was in the net I knew it was a 40lb+! On the scales she went 43lb 9oz!!! Again a few self takes and I was off to work. Rigs were Atomic tungsten tubing with bombz away safety clip, 3oz dung lead and a 360 rig using a size 8 Stinga hook, 25lb Jel e wyre hooklink.
Once again Mainline the NEW Cell fluro pop ups with a few CELL freebies and around a kilo of Hinders combi pellet and mini combi pellet per fish!"
